Got out this morning and took an excited Bobby for a walk down past my sister's house. We've only walked 3 times this week. I have to stop being so lazy in the morning. It was probably a mild and a half. Will try to start increasing the distance. I have a friend who will walk with me when the weather gets cooler.
Had a cup of coffee this morning with less sugar and had 1/4 bagel. Will probably have hot chocolate later. Made 2 servings of oatmeal for later today and tomorrow. I have 2 bananas left and they make the oatmeal edible for me.
I packed a box of mugs yesterday, will try to pack a small box of something today.

Thanks Mortification - it's not much fun is it? I' m getting rid of furniture too. My sister took my kitchen table. I've put 4 end tables and the futon in the living room and just need to find someone to take it away.

Slyone, it's crazy isn't it? Yesterday I was emptying outside planters and washing them. I have 3 on the porch I won't touch until it's time to move. I know the plants won't survive in the cooler climate but for now they are like teens on my porch. I think I will take no more than 4 small planters. Smaller house, smaller yard. Today I lined up all the various pictures that were hanging on walls (took them down when the house was painted). Trying to decide if I want to keep any of them. 2 look like something I would have hung up in my bedroom when I was 17. But at 68 I still like them. Now I'm looking for a thrift store that will pick up furniture

Shir, this will be my 4th move since 1987. I had been living in a condo from 1987 until I moved for a job in 1994. Rented the condo to a co worker. Didn't have all that much in a 1 bedroom condo and didn't add anything in the apartment. Then I bought a 3 bedroom house in Folsom with a garage and yard and everything. All of a sudden I needed rakes, and garden hose, a lawnmower, a Weber grill, etc. Then moved to this house with a much bigger yard and one more bedroom. Easy to fill up. The new house will be similar to the Folsom house but with just 2 large bedrooms. So I'm not just getting rid of things from the closets and drawers, I have major furniture that won't fit. I wonder if anyone wants my garage refrigerator?
