I keep thinking it's Saturday. But it is Friday the 13th. It's windy outside right now and just a little drizzle. Yesterday was a dry day and today was supposed to be good as well with rain starting late in the day. Well, it started to rain just past 10am. The local Sacramento news station said there has been measurable rain every day since New Year's Eve until yesterday. Well, we got some rain here yesterday. Can't believe we've had rain of some kind every day for 2 weeks. Don't even remember the rain at the end of December. I bought a rain gauge and it holds up to 5 inches. My intent was to measure how much rain each storm brought. But it's hard to tell when one storm ends and another begins. I emptied the gauge last night at just under 5 inches. Supposed to get a storm today and almost all of tomorrow. Not sure about Sunday, but more again on Monday. I think we are close to the end of all of these "atmospheric rivers" as they call them. Looking forward to a few non rainy days in a row. I had to cancel a hair appointment last week, that I was really looking forward to. But it's over an hour's drive (I still go to the young lady who I've been going to since about 1996, before I bought my old house in Folsom) and I just didn't want to risk driving in heavy rain, or any rain and coming across flooded roads or downed trees. I also had plans to meet a former neighbor for lunch. Something we have done every time I have a hair appointment for over 10 years. Rescheduled both appointments for the end of the month. The first week of trying my WOE went well. No cravings, lost over 5 pounds. I haven't done well this week. The weight has been down up to .4 pounds since I last posted the weight to up a pound. I haven't been really bad since there really isn't anything bad in the house. But I had a couple evenings where I ate extra pistachios (the goal is 20 or so a day) and had extra servings of whatever else I ate. Hoping to do better today. I will weigh on Sunday to see if I meet my weekly goal of 1 pound, I'm trying to post a picture of Bobby as a puppy with his sister, Penny. I think he looks so much like Letty's puppy that she posted a few days ago. Maybe his face is a little longer

Sorry you had to cancel your hair and lunch appointments. Ohh! They are adorable! Funny thing, my youngest yorkie, her name was Penny when we got her at 12 weeks old. She is 8 today!:)

Bananas, the deer have found a safe place somewhere I guess but not at my house. Some mornings I see the doe with her nearly grown baby but nobody else.

Thanks Navywife. At least I managed to reschedule lunch and the hair appointment as long as another batch of storms don't come through at the end of the month. When I got the pups to foster they were named Bobby and Carney. Penny was her new name once adopted. I kept Bobby's name

The pups are adorable. I'm waiting for ground yards to dry out for a couple days so I can pick up the 100 of small dead tree branches that fell during storm yesterday. Stay dry and safe❣️

The pups are adorable. We get a break next week. At last check it showed Monday as the last day of rain and by Wednesday it will be sunny.
