As predicted, the new low didn't stick, but I knew it wouldn't. I'm sore and swollen from working on helping with laying the laundry room floor. It was a lot of bending down and standing up, and fetching tools from the garage this time around, but in the 110 degree heat, I'm sure I burned some calories.
I had taken a break from cardio for a while (not counting the 20-30 minute dog walks 3-5 days/week in the AM). I'm ready to return to that soon. I was focusing on getting a good weight training program under my belt and my time didn't allow for both. Now that I have the weight training plan down, I can add the cardio back in for a more well rounded workout plan.

Working on the floor is hard work, esp in that kind of heat! You will stick your new low eventually. Be kind to yourself!

Just continue to stay focused, you just hit a small bump in the road. Rather then stress over it, take control over it. I feel for you laying the floor, I did my entire apartment, and that is some serious work. Get some good knee pads too. Have a great day and don't work too hard :)
