Morning weigh in of 204.8 after our fun meal out last night. Within my calorie goals but many more carbs than usual, including alcohol and three delicious desserts that all four of us shared. I still claimed a third of each!

As noted a day ago, I'm going to reduce my daily calorie target. Starting today, I'm going to take it from 2160 each day to 1840 on non workout and weight lifting days and 2100 on 'hour on the treadmill' days. This is based on analysis of how many calories I am actually burning on those days according to my fitbit device. I will average about 1950 a day over each week. As my body fat goes down, I'll be able to eat more. Will readjust as that happens. I'm at the point now where my maintenance calories are 2200 a day (sedentary). That's great news but it also means that 2160 a day was not doing it to get rid of that last bit of body fat.

Bill, you know that 204 is just a myth. The desserts killed you with sugar and carbs. You know how NM is always harping about with the sugar carrying something like 4 times its own weight in water, right? In a day and a half, that will all be gone because you've crunched the numbers and you're still right on track, or 12 over, something silly like that? And as you stated: the less fat you carry, the more muscle you will have and the more your body will require (in calories) to maintain itself. You're doing great and living life. Perfect balance.
