12 Week Summer Work Out Challenge until Sept 1st: WEEK 5!

How was YOUR week???? How is YOUR Summer Challenge progressing???

Wellllll it's been a helluva week! Minor medical setback on Friday had me eating pizza all weekend and feeling lousy. Posted my weight gain yesterday. Reset yesterday with a healthy day and walking 2 blocks OUTSIDE. Woke up this morning, determined to go to park. I was anxious & shaky crossing the street, felt so unstable with all the traffic and light flashing Go Go Go. I did make it! Sat on bench for a bit, then had panic attack trying to cross street. Had to get help from a nice lady, was crying, but hobbled my way back home. Folks, I KNEW I wasn't ready! I had a plan to build up to this over next 3-4 days. But NOPE, had to ignore the steps and ignored my plan LOL Lesson learned; baby steps required. I am determined to keep pushing myself! This week: chair yoga and basic standing movements. Do you think a 15 minute walking video counts as 15 minutes of walking???

Let's get moving!!!! :)

Whoa girl. I'd hate for you to fall and hurt yourself. It's great to push yourself, but be careful. I think a 15 minute walking video is the same as 15 minutes of walking.

I agree 15 minutes is 15 minutes! Be careful. You will need to build up your strength.

Didn’t even notice till you said so! We see what we expect to see, especially when reading. (I do see My Own typos however, just not always in time to correct them. Makes me crazy.)

This week was the week I dreaded. I am usually good at the beginning of an exercise goal and then when I have a stressful week I throw it all away and beat myself up. Miss most of my modest goals this week and when upset decided to eat more. haha. Up 5 lbs. But, reading everyone's posts is helping me reset. Here's to a better week.
