12 Week Summer Work Out Challenge until Sept 1st: WEEK 3! It's a whole new challenge for me, folks! LOL

How was YOUR week????

Right after posting my Let's Goooo last week, I twisted my knee, with a possible meniscus tear. The kind of pain where I envisioned a disabled future. Immediately, my body was in healing mode, shocking me with the daily improvements! I do have a plan NOW haaaa took an injury to get me focused. I can walk carefully around apartment, unaided, for short bursts. Next challenge is walking with a cane: hallway, then lobby, then outside! Just a few minutes to get some fresh air. I can stand for about 15 minutes without leg ache, so am curious to see what I can accomplish with walking :) I'm excited!

Liv, glad to hear you are mending. Hopefully you have a good physio near you! This past week I was able to meet most of my goals. One day I came home raw from work, and had zero energy to do much of anything. But there will be days like that. Then there are days like today. I got up and my mind was telling me to "relax" but I knew I wanted to meet my cycling goal. Well....not only did I meet it, I went double the distance I normally do! There is a huge hill and I kept saying, "just to the next mailbox". I did it!!! And my knee if not punishing my so far. I feel great! I am also grateful there was no one nearby so they didn't mistake my gasping for air as a heart event and call an ambulance!!!! Haha. Hopefully, I can continue to build or heck, do this again! Good luck everyone with all of your goals this week

My only goal this week has been to avoid the heat, stay hydrated and avoid the heat…..

I freaked when i injured my knee too. well silently but its kinda a scary wake up call. put my whole lifestyle on review. Hope you heal well and swiftly. :)
