Depending on what happens with my continued review of the difference in calorie burn between my new FitBit or the way I've been doing it, I may be adjusting my total calorie targets going forward. However, for today, the 2208 calorie target results from a big walking day at work followed by an hour on the treadmill. Since my body fat is down to 28.6 pounds, I only had an 898 calorie deficit to hit today (3106 total burned minus 898 equals 2208 calories). I didn't eat them all, however. I sort of split the difference and ended up at 1984. Actually, I just reviewed the FitBit dashboard and it said I've burned 2881 calories today. So that minus the 898 is actually 1983 -- one calorie less than I ate! That's a coincidence for sure... I will compare the treadmill to the FitBit some more tomorrow.
