Greetings Buddies!

Well, another snowy day in the North Country - at least the temperature is no longer minus 17 while it snows...it is above zero today!

It seems I have been on a little carb fest for a couple days...if I do not eat enough protein, I am fatigued and lazy.

I will increase the protein this coming week and try to let go of some of the carbs I seem to have re-introduced. My
Orange Theory trainer suggested I eat 130-140grams of protein daily! That is quite a lot for me. I suppose if I eat more calories and they are lean protein sources, it could be beneficial. More tweaking of the food plan is likely to happen.

It is Winter and carbs seem to just happen...

Carbs, such a love/hate relationship isn't it? I know you will figure it out!

Oh I am doing terrible with carbs- I am sure my A1C will not be as good as it has been. I keep gaining and losing the same 3 pounds. For some reason I can be great during the week and on weekends,lose it. I sure wish I had an answer!
