LOVE Wood Ducks, they seem like a painted wooden duck. I myself have only seen a few at a time never that many together either. Your pictures are fantastic!!!! I appreciate the post.👍🌺

Thank you, guys! It was so good to walk. Pretty cold but the sun was shining, so I was very happy. Shrewdness, aren't they amazing? They were not all together as mallards might be, but little clumps of two or three or five. I was shocked to keep seeing them!

We have ducks but I've neve seen them just sitting on a log. They're always in the water so that's interesting to me. Great pics! As always.😉❤️

We have ducks, even crossing the street at times. It’s crazy! A mother with several ducklings is not a rare sight. I like them too. I think we have several kinds, there’s so many I need to take notice. Your area looks very similar to one close to me. I should try to take a picture for you but it will evfull of snow. LOL
