I love nature. I bet it was a beautiful moment to walk up in the ducks. Yes you get through one day and start a new. Don’t look back. Don’t look too far ahead for awhile. It does get easily

Thank you, everybody, for enjoying my pictures with me. It really means a lot and is so encouraging to have your support. These haven't been the best of days lately, and getting out in nature and walking is wonderfully healing. Taking pictures to share makes it feel like friends are with me! ♥️  

Princess, these are ducks that pirch! They nest in holes in trees very high up. It is so weird to think of a duck landing in a tree rather than water. Love2, it was cold! You know our temps are dropping this week, but the sun felt pretty good. These are not common ducks to see. That is why I was so absolutely amazed to see so many!!!! Becky, I wish you could join me on another walk and see these guys. This was in Kirkland across the lake from where we were! All of you, thank you for sharing my joy! I really, really wish I could have been closer or had a better camera to show more clearly the wonderful, stunning colors!

Oh wow!!! So beautiful Melissa!!! I love wood ducks too!!! I especially I especially love the first pic with the sun breaking through the clouds! It reminds me that hope is like the breaking dawn! A fresh start to a new day!
