I just wish I started my FS journey years back. But, I’m here now and will be in shape soon — maybe.

I too wish I started my journey in my teens like my kids have. But it’s never too late. But we do lose some benefits by starting later in life I think as it’s much harder to build muscle as we get older. We can but we might have to try three times as hard. Is this true Diablo? Or myth?

Actually it was Plato not Socrates.

Socrates said : "Των σωμάτων θηλυνομένων και αι ψυχαί πολύ ασθενέστεραι γίγνονται." When bodies become soft then souls lose their power. "Κρείττον οψιμαθή είναι ή αμαθή" Better to have learned recently than not to have learned at all

Plato said also : "Εις τελειότητα του ανθρώπου τρία δει συνδράμειν: φύσιν, μάθησιν και άσκησιν." To the perfection of man see three contributions: nature gifts, learning and exercise.

I vaguely remember the strength and beauty of which my body was capable, long, long ago. Now I'm just old and brittle. 😉

Actually, Tasso, my sources say it was Socrates.
