jazzylittleone's Journal, 04 Sep 20

I had the day off work, and my daughter and husband didn't. So, I took a walk by myself for a whopping 6.3 miles. You all have to realize that I am very sedentary, so this is a big deal. On the walk I was so happy the rock formation my daughter named "The Sleeping Dragon" has not been overgrown. It's been a few years since we walked this trail. Do you see it's nostril, mouth, and its closed eye? In other good news, my knee and hips did not ache at all on this walk. The only pain was just my feet because my socks were poor.

Oh so beautiful. Yes. Socks and good walking/hiking shoes are crucial to foot and ankle health if you walk long distances or hike.
