The good news: Had my best home workout so far today and it felt great.
The bad news: Went grocery shopping and even though I tell my kids "just because I shopped, you don't need to eat it all in one day"- I have been eating it all in one day- a couple of these, a few of those... and still feel hungry.
The good/bad news: Had a most amazing nap this afternoon from 4p-6p- which is making me awake and typing on FS at 10:13 p.m. which is when I am usually sound asleep. The good news- All the laundry remains caught up since I can't do anything else on the weekends. The bad news- I need to put away 2 baskets worth right now. Good night all.

Lol! Your account depicts the essence of life: a sour-sweet combination of good and bad news. Appreciate the good ones, Don't worry too much about the bad ones and keep going. You're doing great!

I'm so glad you had a good workout. That is inspiring me... I've been totally lacking in motivation. I keep doing outside projects, which to this point have been pretty intense. So, I've felt justified. Having tilled by hand so much of my yard, i've run out of places to dig. Right after the gym closed, I was using what I had at home pretty faithfully. It is time for me to make a new plan. We are still in "first phase" here in Washington. They say gyms won't even open until 3rd. From what I understand, that could be many weeks away. Blah... And, someday a couples photo? 😁 If it is anything like a combination of the pictures you guys posted this week, you could easily look like it should be in a fitness magazine!❤️ Get those kids a quick lesson in photography, since you don't think you are a capable selfie taker! 😁

I usually don't care. Even a few weeks ago I didn't care. But I decided I'm tired of seeing 180's on the scale. My 3 a.m. weigh in is not good. 😜

We have to get use to home workouts, I am so proud of you. Gotta keep off that quarantine 19.

Yes. Definitely going to do them more. It's not ideal but I don't want to lose the muscle I worked my ass off to put on for the last year. Plus the more I do it, the more I'll want to do it. 💪🏼🏋️‍♀️

Good schedule - they say brief naps increase productivity

It’s ok! Shake it off. You’ll drop again in a day or two. I’ve been struggling to get more than 3 days at a deficit. I’m aiming to get this whole week under my belt

Me too groatmeal! It's like 3 -4 days I'm good then screw it up on day 5 and back to square one. so irritating. Just gotta keep trying.

I think what you described in being replayed in homes around the world. I've been good with what I've been eating, I'm just working on the portion control. And I'm putting in 1 - 2 hours of powerwalking a day (4.5 mph pace). That has been most helpful to me. Just keep after it and don't sweat it. I have a feeling we're all going to get our gyms back in June at some point. I can't wait! And yes, I'm staying on top of laundry too. I've been trying to do it periodically during the day throughout the week so weekends can be reserved for outdoor pursuits!

I'm bound and determined to be 178 or less by May 31st! Or else. LOL. Or else I am continuing into June. Ha

I couldn't exactly keep up with good-bad-good-bad news, but I'm all in with golden girls reruns! I hope I grow up to be Blanche, but will probably end up a Dorothy.... 😂

And I get the post-grocery store munchies. I opened a family size bag of almond m&m's, and since the bag ripped, I felt the need to eat massive amounts before I repacking them.... I'm not weighing in this week. ☹️

Don't weigh in if you don't want to. Whatever works for you! And you really had no choice the way the bag tore- It's like when more than one of something gets stuck together... No one is to blame. You just have to eat 2 of it. :)
