My favorite restaurant is closed on Sundays so we went out for Mother’s Day tonight.

I ordered the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, a side salad and chocolate pie. As usual I ate half of the main meal (even though the steak was quite a bit smaller this time). I only used 1/4 of the ranch they gave me for the salad and shared with all my girls. I shared my pie with my youngest as neither of us wanted a whole piece.

I have to save some calories for my protein shake and bedtime snack after all 😉.

Happy Mother’s Day to you! It was very good! I didn’t much care for the pie as it was the pudding type and I prefer the cocoa type but I had a 5 yo who was very willing to eat most of it! Lol.
