All I want to do is get back down to my goal weight! I just need a little over 2 lbs to get there. I have been doing 1200 calories give or take a few and my weight doesn't budge. I don't want to have to eat only 1200 calories per day for the rest of my life in order to maintain. I thought I could do 1600 calories per day to maintain, but the scale kept going up. I don't eat like a bird normally, I eat like an idiot, that's how I got over my goal weight. Anyway I am going to keep trying.

Hmmm...maybe you can eat 1600 if you look at the composition? a little more protein or veggies? How are the hummingbirds?

Have you ever calculated your BMR and AMR? 🙏

It's probably the carbs - 98 is a bit too much, maybe? But I am an Atkins fan and first met you on that site. Maybe you could play around with those limits, drop to 60 gr and keep total calories the same. Sadly, carb tolerance decreases with age - I'm 70 now and I can see the impact. Your dinner looks especially carb heavy.

2 lbs is not a lot and we cannot let everything get dictated by numbers all the time. And I think you are doing great

@trakin64 You are absolutely right. this morning I went back to Atkins, low carb. I am starting out on the induction. That's how I originally lost the weight. I just thought I could go back to calorie and maintain and have a better variety of food.

Same!!! I find sugars and carbs are my downfall. Dairy meats and veggies keep me on track. Best wishes! You can do it!!! 😋

I have to say that I totally admire how well you've maintained your initial impressive weight loss and that you don't let these little gains get out of hand. That's the right way to do it! I have yet to master that process, but I haven't given up yet. Going back to induction is a good way to clear your head about those oh-so-addictive carbs. Those 2 lbs will be gone in a flash.
