I don't mind mind some posts about things other than food or exercise. I think a bit of diversion right now is appreciated by many. And if you're struggling with things other than weight, chances are sticking to a diet/ exercise program may be difficult. I still see lots of food posts. DP, you have a right to your oppinion. I just hope it doesn't discourage you from being here cause I like hearing from you 😊

I think high calories meals have to do with fat loss/weight gain and or maintenance. Some do OMAD, some post bacon and eggs, others cakes. We show what keeps up on track.

I'm ok with memes and funny posts, I think it's just that it seems to be more prevalent right now and it makes sense since everyone is #stayinghome. No biggie. Can't wait to get back to normal, whenever that may be.

Well, I'm certainly guilty, but, in my defense, all those non-diet posts are about my success or lack of due to what's going on in my life. Sometimes a person just needs a safe place to vent in order to get through the day, and I'm okay with that.

But there is tons of non- health related stuff on here. I’m not as bothered by some stuff but it’s the preachy stuff telling me how I should live that annoys me 😂

You can pick and choose what you want to read, you can skip what is not important to you. That's another nice thing to. You can look for the person on here that motivates you to help with weightloss .. So many varieties on here .

I agree! I've been here a long long time and I do not even like the food photos...especially the ones with generally unhealthy foods. I understand CICO but I also think quality fuel is important. My goals is health and functional fitness so food choices matter to me.

DP- agree. I have not been on Facebook since the last election where I found myself really coming to an understanding of my family and friends beliefs. FS is the same except heaven forbid someone posts something political and they are slam dunked to make this a non political platform but are open to any other topic. The only reason I joined was my nutritionist wanted me to initially track my intact to provide a more specific diet to meet my nutritional needs. She helped me figure out what to intake and cut back on in just a few weeks. Not sure why I continue to comment but chalk it up to there are some of "you" who I think in a real life friendship we would be friends. P.s. If you ever have a flat tire or are t boned call me. I am there for you !

Now how did I miss this?! 😂🤦🏻♀️ I’m eclectic when it comes to posting but it usually holds some kind of weight, gym, loss, etc. Not always, though. I suppose it doesn’t bother me because.. well.. I don’t know why. 🤷🏻♀️ I think the vent was good. And I think it burned calories! (or we can just say it does. Lol).
So totally unrelated to this post but how is the bench working out? I have had no luck getting one. Thankfully the equipment comes tomorrow but I wanted to add just a bench, as well. 😣
