Incline bench 95
Bench press 135
Seated military press 105
Rows 105

Decided to try and bench 105 and got 8 reps. Hubby decided to surprise me and added 15 to each side. I thought it was just 10. Only got 3 reps at 135 and 2 sets after my 3 sets of 105. Not a bad day at all! Did figure out 135 is all my shoulders can handle. The joint not the muscles. The left side, my good shoulder, almost locked up and had shooting pains. Don’t want to risk an injury. Just super proud that I can bench more than my weight now! That was my goal. Just have to use the smith machine for form and because it makes me fee more secure.

Binky I think I could go a bit heavier honestly. Just for 1-2 reps though. Hubby wants me to do more every week but I told him I’m probably stopping at the 175 deadlifts and 135 bench. The deads hurt my hips and I don’t want benches too mess up my shoulder ;).

Tassos 😊 I don’t know about that. I see women a bit bigger than me curling more than I do but I never see them on any of the benches. I know I benched more than a male teen I saw last Friday. He was close to hubbys size and benching 115 and struggling. He’s just starting at our gym though and couldn’t quit watching us lift. Made me feel good that he was probably in awe or trying to pick up pointers perhaps. I wish more ladies at the gym lifted. I like to compare myself to others close to my size to see if I’m where I should be. Plus I like some good natured competition and most of the ladies are rowing 30-50#. Well on most machines actually (I take a peek after they leave and before I change to my numbers).
