Kenna Morton's Journal, 17 Jan 20

I subscribe to Scientific American magazine, a go-to for researching. The last year or so they have done a series of in depth articles on the value of exercise for both weight loss and overall health. Fascinating stuff. I think we are all aware of the concept of you can’t outrun a bad diet as applied to weight loss but it’s effect on overall health both mental and physical is invaluable.
If you are interested in reading some of the articles they are available for free. Try entering Scientific American and Evolved to Exercise I to your search engine and several of the different articles should come up. With the subscription I have I get both printed copy and digital and access to all the SA magazine articles back to 1845 I think it is. Fascinating to see what was cutting edge back then and read what people were thinking about new ideas, technologies and scientific discoveries.

Thank you Kenna. This would be a wonderful gift idea for me to put on a list (RM likes me to give him ideas). I love exercise and fully believe in it too. Have a great weekend! :0)

Agreed, my fitness motivation is more for overall health, rather than weight loss, better mental functioning, sleeping better, digesting better, feeling great physically, happier, life-enjoyment factor way up..
