Roasted half a yam, half a yellow potato and 1/4 cup of garbanzo beans in the oven. They were good. This is the 2nd day for the beans, didn't like them much yesterday but today I brushed everything with olive oil before putting in the oven. Need to keep trying and figure out how not to burn the potatoes. They were good anyway! And the garbanzo beans were much better today.

If unaware and you get the opportunity check out the nutritional differences between yams and sweet potatoes. Once I learned this I always chose the sweet potato. Cheers.

Thanks Tatauu! Adameve - I just logged sweet potato for 4 ounces in my food journal to compare with same amount of yam. Sweet potato has about 35 less calories, the same amount of protein and the yam has 1 more gram of fiber. To be honest, I buy yams because I like the color! I will try sweet potato next time. Thanks for the information.

Melissa - I bought the silicon liners after you posting about them awhile ago. These are small baking sheets, not as big as cookie sheets. I have the liners for both sizes and love that the pan doesn't get dirty.
