Another trip to San Diego — medical necessity for both sister and her significant other. Had to do a 911 call for him so he is now in the hospital. It’s a crazy life lately. 2 1/2 hours to get there and 3 1/2 hours to get home. It’s only 75 miles. Bumper to bumper on a Friday night during Holliday season. Eating things that are NOT part of my everyday world. One of the nurses went out for hamburgers and brought me back one that was made with that new alternative meat. I don’t think I would have noticed the difference if she hadn’t told me. Looked like a hamburger, texture of a hamburger. So I was good with it. I just kept thinking I should just eat the “alternative meat” patty and throw the rest away. It came from a well known burger chain, highly touted by many , I just kept thinking to myself —- I can’t believe people eat this shit. .
