Brrrr it's a wintery blast for some of us this Motivational Monday! Lost the few pounds gained during my birthday carb loading, so time to hit weight loss goals!!!! It definitely feels like soups, stews and tea time. Do you have a favourite winter drink? I like the spicy drinks like chai or Golden Milk. Had a few herbal teas this weekend - peppermint, cinnamon orange & lemon. It's 2 weeks till Thanksgiving! Let's gooooo Wishing you a successful week!

There are many recipes but the main Golden Milk ingredients are: unsweetened almond or coconut milk (or any milk), turmeric (powder or paste), ginger, cinnamon, pinch of black pepper; sweetener (honey, maple syrup, stevia); optional ghee or coconut oil or butter, cardamom. I've seen jars of the premixed powder & additions of bone broth, protein powder. Very versatile: can be served hot or cold! Enjoy a spicy drink today :)
