Candied walnuts 2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons granulated SWERVE
PINCH OF SALT—- pinch of cayenne pepper
1 cup walnuts.

Melt the butter and SWERVE add pepper if using and pinch of salt
Add nuts

KEEP STIRRING— it went from golden to almost overdone in a flash. Taste GREAT. SWERVE IS A NO Net carbs and does not affect your blood sugar. If someone here who is diabetic and uses SWERVE would chime in and let me know how that works for you. I already use swerve when I bake many things. I just sub out half the sugar for it. I am not diabetic myself but am trying to keep my carbs at about 150 and, of course, everyone in my world is diabetic..

I didn’t eat this all, it was a trial run for the nuts I will do for the weekend party. I ate about 10 grams worth.
