I've been very sedentary July and August as I'm off work on vacation. I had planned this, and to have my ankle foot diagnosed, so far x rays, hopefully an MRI. I'm quite active at work, usually close to 10,000 steps by 3pm, but then my foot flares so I have to keep it above my waist to stop the swelling and it drives me nuts as I want to go to a gym to burn off 30 minutes with an elevated heart beat, but I'm stuck nursing it on the couch. Hopefully I'll have surgery before Christmas to fix it, wishfully praying. I'm also planning on joining a gym (a city gym), to do resistance and mild strength training and they tell you how to set the machines free of charge (unlike Goodlife). I went from a size 16-18 waist in pants and I'm down to a size 12-14. I'm so happy about that as it's hard to find clothes that fit with a big belly and slim thigh!!!

I have an appointment on Monday to request cholesterol and triglycerides levels as this is what scares me. I'm not on meds but was asked to try diet first, so I hope they've lowered.

I also have to quit smoking, but to do that I need to exercise the stress off for 45 minutes, so surgery will help!

I need to buy a cloth tape measure to count my inches!

I picked up some tight leggings and tshirts the other day. So I'm always making progress. And although I have had delicious high fat snacks a few times this summer, I'm delighted that I've maintained this healthy eating routine over the past three months!
