well i said i probably wouldn't be back full time but i didn't think it would be half a month later before i got back again. I've been to so many doctors appointments and just sleeping my way healthy a lot. they've officially concluded that I've developed an allergy to penicillin.. which explains the hives, but i'm still having other symptoms that i'm hoping are just residual affects that will eventually disappear as well. in the meantime it means more trips to the doctors office and a lot more praying. i decided today that i want to take a break from meat for a bit.. so i'm at least temporarily vegetarian. i don't know how long it will last, maybe tomorrow i'll change my mind, maybe next week, who knows, but at least for today i just wasn't feeling the idea of putting dead animals in my mouth AT ALL. i figure it cant possibly hurt me as long as i'm still getting protein in me. if it sticks then maybe i'll look into protein supplementing. until then i'm just going with the flow and thanking God that i feel better than i did a few weeks ago. i hope everyone else out there is doing well. (P.S.- if something in your body doesn't feel quite right, get it dealt with as soon as you possibly can.. putting it off only prolongs the healing process and increases your chances of something worse developing)

I’m also allergic to penicillin and coincidentally also a vegetarian for years now! Good luck on your trek. I personally don’t eat meat at all but cook it for my family regularly and I don’t miss it at all. So many great Indian and Asian vegetarian options that are delicious and healthy! All the best to you!
