Happy Monday everyone - it is a beautiful day. I had a really busy weekend on duty - lots of things are in flux so there are a few stressed out people. My job there is going well so no complaints. I had a really weird day yesterday with a late afternoon blood glucose crash...first one of these in a long time. Thanks Pancreas...just have to mix it up and keep it exciting. My lesson learned from this is that my system is going to be a bit unpredictable at times. I still think this is motivating me to get past my fear of lowering my insulin dose further. I have a business trip coming up in a week which means being out of the norm in eating so I think I will begin that experiment when I get back. I did have a recent eye exam and there is no signs of diabetic damage (or any other weirdness)which is great news.
I hope you all are having a great day and find the courage to move past whatever fear is holding you back from your goals and dreams.

Great news about your eye exam. You are wise to wait until you return from your business trip before changing up your insulin dose.

I get those surprises from my pancreas too. Some days it decides to sleep in and some days it wakes up and works overtime. Just be sure to always carry a healthy snack or two with you for the overtime days.

Good to hear you're doing well. Hope there isn't any more weirdness and everything stays stable, even when your routine changes.
