Dinner tonight was from the long line of Great American Short stories— fiction. Spaghetti sauce was home made with equal parts beef, ground turkey and tofu. Unsalted crushed tomatoes. Just picked a FS sauce choice that sounded reasonable. The bread was a great seeded whole wheat bread from Panera. Excellent. Same thing. Just picked one from the database that had the calories close to what was listed on the bakery pkg. For me, it just serves as a place marker on my food log.. I know the ingredients, I know the portion size I ate and I know whether I met my own personal MICRO requirements for the day.. I don’t have to micro manage every meal, but I do want to be able to know that I am meeting my goals.

Excellent job of recording, and super food choices (except for that nasty soda! LOL. I'm a recovering Diet Coke Addict)

DebbieCousins— I never got into the diet soda thing. It seems that is just as bad as regular soda. So my soda is the real stuff. Mini 7 oz. can. One and that is it for maybe a week. Just a once in a while thing because I like it.

I used to drink 2 liters of DC a day. Now, I allow myself a 12-oz can daily, but sometimes I don't even drink it all. Tough addiction for some people, like me. Glad you can control your soda. I couldn't for many years. I would go a couple months and then think I'll just have ONE because... and then I was back to my 2-liters a day in no time, @Kenna Morton.
