I survived yesterday's carbopalooza! I ate appetizers at one house and my dinner at another house. No dessert - too full!

I weighed my lowest yesterday morning; and, of course, was up 3 pounds this morning! I think I was "brave" just to get on the scale - LOL!

Actually, with yesterday's weigh-in, I met my October-November goal of losing 12 pounds. So, by the end of November, when I am back down from the Holiday blip, I should be right on track.

Weather radically hanged here yesterday - snow, and only 19 degrees when we got up today! BRrrrrrrrr...


Still grateful for:

- The people I love who love me back!
- The good health of my loved ones
- My FS Buddies who support and encourage me to continue
- "Butt-kicking" myself to a smaller size today

Good job, HCB. I have lost ZERO. I haven't been super vigilant with food, either. I have almost decided I don't care. Not that I don't want to lose weight, and certainly not with counting my carbs, but I am almost ready to commit to 1500 calories a day, and lots of exercise. I went to buy some more jeans today and I got into, buttoned and zipped up some size 8's. 8's!!!!! I probably need to lose 10 pounds to really wear them - I had a hella muffin top. But I don't care! If I can be a size 8, the next size down, be in single digits, and work on flattening my stomach, then what the hell does it really matter what I weigh? I am training for a 10K, so I'm running a lot. I am not going crazy with the food, but I am not starving myself, either. I am ready to just let go. Let me do 1500 calories and let it take 6 months for me to lose 15 pounds. That is really okay with me right now. You did a great job on the Thanksgiving. Now we just have to get through Christmas and New Year's. Won't it be FRIKKIN' AWESOME this year, in January 2013, to have everyone else around you moaning and bitching about their New Year's Resolutions, whining that they have to go to the gym, or whining that they are hungry, and people like us who have been on a program for a year already just laff and laff and laff? I can't WAIT. Bring it!

YES - KMD, you are rocking now! I completely agree with you on the "let it go" anf focus on doing the best you can at your own pace.

Yep, I was up too, 1.9 pounds, gotta love it. I was amazed at how many calories were in each item and I really tried to keep it down. Well the in-laws go home Monday so I will be back to exercising to get this back off.
