Happy New Week, my Furry Followers!

Idiot Box is stuck in the same place for about two weeks...not quite sure what to tweak right now to get things moving. I am eating in a caloric deficit, exercising well and drinking all my water.

It is slightly possible I am holding water from exercising - I did make it to Orange Theory three days in a row this weekend for a total of four days as I work my way back to my normal after surgery. The only real difference is I have added a small amount of electrolytes to my water bottle.

I could say sodium but I wash it all out drinking 12-16 cups of fluids daily. Back to the "drawing board" and trying new things! I really miss my weight lifting...

Goal Calories: 1150/1175 or less, and carbs under 25 total grams

Is is possible that you are eating too much protein and not enough fat? It is different for everyone but you might want to look at this. Saying this, I am the last person in the world to give advice on macros. LOL!

Current plan will probably be sufficient once you are released to lift as accustomed. Hard to wait, I know.

Hours of sleep? We need 7 to 8.

Have you ever tried increasing your calories? Our bodies get used to what we do and it helps to mix things up (in my experience).

You might want to consider cutting back on your caloric intake until you are back to full activity...

Thanks for the helpful idea - probably could increase the fat macro and do "real" keto...calories are based on expenditure and allowing for a deficit. I also do not eat or do a protein shake at night if I am not hungry.

The more I read about Tom Venuto....the better I like the guy. Pretty down to earth with his opinions :)
