Can you get magnesium from Epsom salts in bath? Do you need to take calcium at different time with that?!

Tash23– you definitely can absorb magnesium from an Epsom salts bath. No you would not have to time your calcium differently. Read up on the benefits of Epsom salts. Google is your friend and a good place to start with most questions. MgSo4 baths are also great for kids with ADHD because they don’t readily absorb magnesium from the gut like most people. The benefits of so many micros are just unknown by sooo many people, including doctors. Functional medicine doctors are the bomb.

Thanks for this, Kenna!

Correction on the magnesium and kids. It is the sulfate that they don’t absorb readily. Epsom salts is magnesium sulfate and the sulfate is also absorbed through the skin. Sorry about that mis- statement.

always check with your doctor first, because if you eat right sometimes you don't need any of those, and if you body produce calcium (exceed), you can end with kidney stone, or with stones in any part of your body, few years ago I had to remove a stone from my neck, so be very careful with vitamins sometimes you don't need multivitamin, or other vitamins.

Thank you so much. Google is my friend but I thought it might be helpful for this thread and wondered in context of calcium absorption.
