Woke at 228.4, up 1.0 from yesterday. I ate more than I burned yesterday including a large, bulky dinner and some nuts later in the evening. Going out for lunch with friends today at the Bonefish Grill. I will eat some good fish there, but only veggies and perhaps a few cocktails. PS. It occurred to me only this morning that wine and whiskey should be my next pre- and post-intake blood glucose test. Starting the day with a protein coffee. UPDATE: Had a great long lunch with friends at Bonefish Grill. Enjoyed blacked Chilean Sea Bass, spinach, and brussels sprouts (and three glasses of red wine). I even had a few bites of carby Bang Bang Shrimp. Came home and did a blood glucose test: got a 93! I am Spartacus! UPDATE: Weighed 228.0 before dinner. Ate one piece of the frozen keto chocolate cake I made at new years and threw out the rest. Not worth it.

I keep mixed nuts on the kitchen counter and in the family room. We just pick up a few nuts between meals ... plus it gets fat and protein into Mother. She eats such small meals .. she needs her snacks.
