Hooray for all the above!!! Especially the "no blood"! ;-) Enjoy your short work day today! My son suggested I leave work early today so that I can go home and do laundry! LOL! That's what happens when you go away for the weekend. Although I did all but one load of laundry, he must have some favorites in that one load I didn't do. Maybe I will "escape" early and get into the gym as well as get his laundry going.

Woohoo for no blood! lol I tried mowing the lawn and ended up with blood thanks to those stupid low hanging pine tree branches. Hopefully I can successfully cut them off with no blood. :)

Well, hubby did not know his own strength. We knotched the tree and tied a rope around it so when it started to fall he could tug it to make sure it landed in the right spot. When his cousin cut it, DH tugged it too hard and he broke the tree in the wrong spot. It went into the tree next to it. So we had a 40 ft tree hanging onto onto another 50 ft tree by one branch. One BRANCH each! One of the limbs (about 15 ft, 4 -6 inch diameter) on the dead tree somehow broke off an ended up on top of the dead tree, and weaved throughout some other branches. So we were pulling and swinging trying to get the branch/tree down w/o anybody getting skewered. I admit I ran inside to get the phone for 911. Kinda scary! The stray branch fell first. Then they started swinging the dead tree like a crazy kid on a swingset. Didn't work! Holy strong branch of about 3-5 inch diameter held a whole tree up! Finally, the both grabbed it, twisted it a little, then swung it and ran. It finally fell. I so should have taped it!

LOL at chopping the tree down and "no blood"... sounds too much like something I would say - my hubby is notorious for bloody disasters. He's kind of like a little kid that way... when I hear him milling about and not making very much noise, I always go check on him because that is usually when he has hurt himself. And I am always on high alert whenever he goes near an axe!!! Good to know you have all your extremities intact!
