Doing the numbers, I find that I must stay below 1200 calories a day for the rest of the month to hit my average of 1300 a day. Ideally need to stay around 1100 with the 25grams of fiber I have been getting, bump up the protein, and stop eating the pie! Pie will be donated today. It's not even a good pie. Again, I was optimistic that someone else can bake better than I can, but they can't. Crust seems to have no butter but shortening and is raw. Moving on. Working out tomorrow. Dancing Thursday, probably the whole 2.5 hours of the dance. Feeling energized to clear more stuff - the hardest part of cleaning up is parting with my things. But I ran into a young friend who is furnishing an apartment, so will be passing along items either there or donation. Once they are in my car, things end up elsewhere. Food: shopped yesterday so I have some fresh items. Smoothie breakfast, protein for lunch, need to get a salty item stocked up for afternoon snacks. Chicken, chicken, and more chicken for dinners! Weigh in tomorrow, sure it's not going in the direction I am hoping for (and not working on). Where does the time go? Almost summer! Hope you are having a good Tuesday!

Pie isn't good in anybody's diet whether is low carb, low fat or low calorie! It's a shame - I love pastry 🙂

I don't know nobody here, but I donate my cakes or pie to the squirrels and armadillos

I give cakes or pies or cookies to either my 50 coworkers (building actually has a treat table where everyone drops their extras) or at a dance (100+ people) - spreading the carbs!

I can have a tiny slice of pie only when I am at someone else's house for a holiday dinner or something and don't have any left over at my house. Otherwise, I'll eat pie for breakfast! And lunch and dinner.

Reminded me of the Shawshank warden giving the bribe pie to Dufresne that he takes back and shares with Red in the prison library

Historically I have donated pie, et al, to my DISPOSAL, which I now understand is a beginner's strategy. Why merely destroy junk food when you can re-gift it, simultaneously making someone fat and beholden to you for the favor? That is some advanced shiznit right there!

Gifting pie makes you comparatively slimmer!!!

Yep, chicken, chicken, chicken, and pre-chickens (aka: eggs). One of theses days I'm gonna start clucking! Bok, bok, bok!
