Losing 0.4 kg a Week
30 March 2020
Trying to keep busy so I won't start cooking and eating even more. Still within my calories for today but carbs are so over my self imposed limit. DD brought over fruit, sweet potatoes, milk, grilled Italian sausages, and broiled salmon. She also brought over a loaf of Applesauce bread from the local bakery. Of course I tried a slice. Well, tasted wonderful but it's a really sweet cake :) Froze the rest. Love that she is looking out for me. No complaints here, just facts. Working hard on portion control. She will probably bring more care packages while I'm staying home so I'll just try to keep a calorie deficit even if the my carbs are high.

Trying to hold off until the beginning of April to weigh in. Weighing in everyday doesnt work for me, too frustrating. I might just wait longer st this point. KFC chicken brought over yesterday by DD. She also brought spaghetti and meatballs and a peach upside down cake??? "well mom a little carbs won't hurt you" Almost a whole cake??? Wonderful to have family look out for you. I certainly thanked her. Spaghetti I froze. Its there if needed. Who knows if my GKs get to visit again, they can eat that spaghetti Cake has a date with the dumpster when it stops raining. Evidently no one at her house liked it. Is it a KFC item? Anyway, today had Chinese from local restaurant, delicious! Only ate half and half of egg roll. Patting myself on the back for not gobbling it all down at one sitting. Tomorrow is another day!

Love living in my small town. Announcement was made yesterday that for people over 60 and to support mom and pop restaurants, deliveries will be made to town residents for free lunches three times a week for two weeks. A limited choice of menus and restaurants but it's all good. Other plans are in the works such as grocery and prescription delivery to help those over 60. I'm not planning on going anywhere. I had a really bad case of bronchitis that went into pneumonia last year. Medicine was expensive and way too many bottles. About 3 weeks of feeling horrible. Definitely digging in.
