Starting 2019 NOT SICK! Woot! Antibiotics cleared up most of (what I think is a bacterial infection) the cough. Just a little congestion, but easily dealt with. I have sinus problems so it's not a big deal.
Diet's been pretty clean since the new year flipped over. I tried the Isopure Whey Protein for the first time and the flavour is great! I think I'll be using this instead of Optimum Nutrition going forward. Going to try to mix this in with my coffee next time. My lazy protein shake for breakfast is 1 scoop protein, 1/4 cup heavy cream, 1 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk. Flavour isn't too strong and it goes down well.
Also realized I've lost 10 lbs, so I recalculated my macros just to be safe. A minor reduction in calories but nothing earth-shaking.
My cat went to the vet; she's hale and hearty as well, except for her teeth. Hopefully we can improve the plaque situation of her teeth before I have to shell out for the cleaning. (I have to improve mine as well...)
Overall, a positive start to 2019. :D

Another gift from my snowboarding trip: a cold. LOL. Epic fail.
Been sick all week, drinking a lot of lemon tea with honey, oregano oil and medication (thank you Neo Citran). Still dealing with congestion and some coughing.
Appetite for food's pretty much flown out the window and it's only just creeping back. No energy or breathing capacity for exercising beyond doing my mobility and rehab exercises for my back, hips and shoulders, so that's a bit of a crapshoot too.
Not the most fun way to close out 2018. :/
BUT. I'm on the mend, I am going to be working from home on Monday so I'll be snuggled down with my laptop and my cat in my PJs all Monday. I call that a win.

Entire weekend diet was a goner. Went up snowboarding over the weekend with a friend and some others and there was only resort food to eat, mostly carbs. Ended up consuming a LOT of pizza and fast food this weekend. This was anticipated, so I'm not super broken up about the weight gain.
It was more stressful thinking I'd lost my relatively new and expensive phone. Turns out it was hiding under a blind spot under my friend's passenger side car seat. The one time where Find my iPhone was a real money saver. Two lessons learned about this: take iPad along, buy a leash for my phone. The one time my wallet-keys-cell phone patdown was skipped, this happens. *sigh*
Trainer's off all next week, so it's up to me to make sure I get out and do a few runs, put in a few workouts on the NTC app.
