Hey yall! Hope everyone is doing well and had a great Thanksgiving. I am doing just fine. I have been experimenting with living a "normal" life which means that I have not been logging my food for a while. I have been trying to see if I can use what I learned over the past year about how to eat properly. So far so good! I ate all kinds of great tasting things over the holiday. Sure, I put on a few pounds and then took them right back off without logging my food. When and if things do get out of control, it’s quite easy to start logging food again to get back on track. I feel confident.

Since the end of October I have not been working out either. I just needed a break. I am still having issues with my elbows and knee. My new yearly plan may be to work out hard for 10 months starting each January and ending after October. Then I'll take my two month break to heal up and enjoy the holidays. Maybe it's not the best plan, but it's how I am justifying my break from weight lifting right now.

We have a lot going on right now. We are going to close on our 10 acre land purchase late December. Then the real work will begin to prepare the land for our new home. 2000 feet of wire fencing needs to go up. Then we have about 40-50 trees which need to be cleared. Then there is building a driveway, planning for septic and contacting the county for everything you try to do, the list never ends!! It’s gonna make for a busy year in 2015. It will be so worth it though!

I just wanted to let my FS friends know that all is well even though I haven’t been online in a while. Take care everyone.
