Well it’s Chinese New Year so hubby & I had Chinese for dinner. Put me over on calories, but oh well, sometimes you just need to relax & enjoy yourself. So this fitness watch hubby got me is quite illuminating, no pun intended. I didn’t make it to the gym yesterday, Friday is my least likeliest day to exercise plus it was payday, so shopping! I pretend that shopping is like walking, but apparently that’s not true. I got more steps in today at work than I did all day yesterday! I think I need to set a goal for a minimum of 5000 steps per day, not including whatever exercise I might do. Anyway, happy new year for everyone, it’s the year of the Dragon so let’s get FIERCE!

Nope, still haven't lost anything this week - maybe 1/4 lb but it's hard to tell. Really feeling down so I'm splurging on my chocolate oatmeal for breakfast, but will TRY to stay within calorie range the rest of the day. One bright spot is, my body fat % is down a smidge, as is the waistline. I guess that's something.
My hubby bought me an early birthday gift, an AmazFit watch. It's Amazon's version of a Fitbit, and I'd been looking at it for some time now. I'm wearing it right now, can't wait to try it out in the gym! Have a great Friday everyone!

Here it is Thursday already and I haven't lost an ounce! So much for the 4 lb goal, it's both frustrating & discouraging. I've been tracking & sticking with the meal plan/calorie limit, but I'm beginning to struggle with chocolate. I didn't eliminate it because that's a recipe for failure, but I have SEVERELY limited how much I eat & track every bite - except for the brownie bite someone pushed on me at work last night, oops! Today I don't feel like cooking, so I'm having a clean-out-the-freezer lunch, weird combo but at least I'm getting adequate protein out of it. Probably a little too much fat, but oh well. Think I'll finish off the Sofrito rice I made the other day, take that with me to work & have for dinner. In the meantime, I'm still tracking so therefore I should be able to buy that dress I want. Unfortunately, it will probably still be size Large, but oh well. Hang in there everybody!

Well will you look at that - actually lost a lb over the weekend!!! Well it's a good start. Got my meal plan set for the week, and will go for my 1st run this morning. The goal this week is to lose another 4 lbs. It's ambitious, but I think I can do it! LET'S GOOOOO!!!!!

Went over calories yesterday but still managed to lose a half lb or so, COOL! Today is hubby's birthday & we're celebrating with our daughters at a steakhouse. So the plan is to eat a light breakfast & dinner, enjoy myself for lunch, but not go overboard. Today is a good day, enjoy it!😎
