Succumbed to some angry eating today. However it was limited to 3 1/4 pound hamburger patties and bacon strips. More than I'm comfortable eating any more and good to know that even though I slipped into 'emotional eating' mode it was mitigate somewhat by the practice/habit of WHAT I eat. The bacon I had as well as some home made re-fried bean soup that was fed to me by a friend (I wish FS allows you to direct input the nutritional values when you know or can calculate them) pushed me way over script carb wise for the day. Not that it was huge amounts just much more than the sub-10g net carbs I have been sticking to. Also had a dram of single malt to go with the soup. Way behind on water intake as well but will work on that this evening.

An off script day for sure but not so much that it is a major deviation and TBH, I could use the extra cals to up the daily average like I said I would be.

Hope everyone has a good day and did a little something to edge closer to your goals.

A day of little wins it seems. When getting ready for a ride on the scoot I decided to give a pair of size 42 jeans a shot just for the giggles and they actually fit! A little on the tight side of things but they fit and were comfortable on the ride! A little way to go before I can really say the 42s are spot on but that is in sight. Not giving up and tossing the things that were too small as I ballooned is paying off in saving on newer close and I come back down again. :D

Still feeling almost too full from bruch a little over 6 hours ago. I am finding it uncomfortable to have a 1200 cal meal. Never thought I’d be saying that. :D Definitely going to be sticking with the OMAD thing on the weekends and when I’m not in the office. Again, something that fits well with my life so very little effort to adopt the practice. 16:8 during the work week M-F OMAD on weekends or anytime I am not in the office.

Good day in the sun on the scoot so now time to relax with some iced cold brew black coffee on the porch and enjoy a cigar. Hoping y’all out there are having or going to have an equally relaxing evening.

Well that was unexpected! After a battery change I get 3 consistent readings on the troll scale. 3 consistent reading that show a drop! I’m going to take it as a win and run with it! :D Still going to stick with the idea to up the average intake over the week as well as keep striving to get the water intake to the 2 liter per day mark.

Perseverance folks.. Perseverance is soooo key. Perseverance in sticking to you plan in the face of slips and stall combined with the flexibility to adjust as needed according to how you feel.

The sun is shining and it’s shaping up to be a beautiful day. My daughter made a surprise visit from school this weekend so going to be whipping up brunch (omelettes and such) for the 3 of us before she heads back, Once she is off I’m going to hop on the scoot to get my face in the wind.

I hope the sun is shining wherever y’all are are out there in the world.
