Kings X (where did that saying originate?) I said Stevia was messing with me. Actually it is Splenda. I should have known better. 😬

I’m not an expert but I don’t think you should be using Splenda in keto...?? Try not using it and see if that helps

Splenda is not food. It is evil. EVIL I tell you! :O OK, that was fun. Really, Splenda mimics sugar in the brain, which means that even though it has no calories, it will act like it does. This zero calorie sweetener has caused weight gain in some test subjects. Use Stevia without additives, or learn to like the lack of sweetness. I have been looking for an actual stevia plant to sweeten my daily coffee.

I knew better but forgot and when I ran out of Truvia (erythritol and stevia) I pulled down a big bag of Splenda I had for pre-keto baking. Aaaaak! Dumb. I'm guessing this has causing havoc. The thing that that confuses me is my keto sticks have been showing a good amount of color. I'm using Swerve now. I'll just have to see what change this makes. Okay. Enough of this. I'm getting off the pad and reading a book. Good night all. Plesant dreams. ❤

As for your Kings X origination--> Long time ago used in "Ivanhoe/Robin hood/hunchback of notre dame and a few other stories and tales Passed down throughout the generations I think it was meant to say "Stop Doing what your doing" . As for the Splenda, not to sure as it is equivalent to other saccharine type products. Not good for persons anyway. Try using a naturally sweet herb or fruit which can be cooked down into a natural sweet syrup. But as all things use in moderation---clinical tests show no significant weight loss benefits using these (if this is your goal)....but STEVIA is considered a natural plant extract resembling sugar which has been used for many many moons. Splenda is a relatively new product manufactured for industry. Does not mean it necessarily helps metabolism, but adds tastes as the biggest benefit. ADDITIONALLY ----YOU COULD USE A MINT TYPE ORGANIC PLANT (Stevia Example)---like the piece of leafy plant they place on dinner plates ---adds to taste with limited caloric intake and not has harmful. Just a Suggestion.....Good Luck

Splenda is just like any other 0 calorie sweetener. Won’t cause weight gain or loss, it’s neutral. I have artificial sweeteners all the time. They’re fine. Use whatever sweetness you please

Try this forget about all the controversy and biographies of the do's and don't and just take your drink straight up!! You will acquire the flavor of what your drinking you know.
