Miscalculation on my part. Last food @ 7pm last night. 16 hours still not hungry. 19 1\2 hrs still by hungry. Took a shower. Whoops. Dizzy, weak knees, queasy. Grabbed what was readily available - re- heated hard boiled egg, butter and 1/2 tomatoe. Thot I was going to faint. Guess my hungry-stat is broken. I'll know better in the future. 😁

Sounds like your electrolytes were low. When you get dizzy try a cup of bouillon or broth first -

Jackie, glad you’re okay. Sounds like your blood sugar may have dropped a bit low too quickly for you to adjust. You might want to be aware of that when you are at the edges of your fasting times. Our bodies naturally wake up with a surge of adrenaline that releases a load of glucose to our bloodstream to power our morning hunt for food. This charge can last for hours. It’s why many people aren’t hungry in the morning and why many farmers and ranchers go work and then come in for breakfast. Read, ‘The Obesity Code,’ by Jason Fung if you haven’t yet.  Eating some protein with a small hit of carbs is a perfect way to bring it up, if you can add some fats all the better to keep on an even keel. If you aren’t taking a magnesium supplement already, you should. It is a necessary mineral for just about every function in your body.

Jackie, To answer your ? yes! l've read your bio and earl on you even stated that fasting was dangerous for your health and you have your doctor appointment's and you & him are concerned about your health.Your a thin man already you were never obese and you want to lose 13lbs for maintenance, even if you didn't lose those lbs you would still be in the acceptable range. You can lose weight naturally and the safe and healthy way. You were doing fine before and then you got this idea on this site. That's a fools game and this isn't the first time you're felt faint.Your 80yr. old body is warning you.Your heart start's racing uncontrollably fast to get blood to your brain that's why your feeling faint and because of that very rapid heart beat..Bunny says you have a very good chance of a cardiac arrest happening which could lead to a stroke.Have you ever seen stroke victims.lts not pretty and all over 13lbs. Look if didn't care for you, l be saying things like...oh be careful or maybe you should take or take that. l'm telling you for the fourth time to stop this fasting nonsense, especially at your age and get on any type of food plan. Like l've always said to you... Jackie, just eat drink and be merry.
