Now that the weekend is behind me, as promised, I'm going back to induction. Either I'm going to lose this weight or I'm not. There is no middle ground here.
To help me focus, I've come up with a mini goal. Our wedding anniversary is the end of May so that gives me 10 weeks to lose 10 pounds. I think that is doable (because the last thing I need is an unrealistic goal).
And to add to my incentive - tomorrow is the first day of spring!

Woo Hoo, good for you. I just said the same in Brens journal, spring is a perfect time for a fresh start, or re-start & I agree with you. Good job, good plan & good luck for all of us!!

Sounds like a good plan to me. 10 lbs in 10 weeks is realistic and very doable.

Davidsmom - Happy Monday. My weekend was too short too. I appreciate your comment. Most people would say 20 pounds in 10 weeks - but I know me.

Hi Buffy. Great mini goal. I am getting back to exercising today. I have until April 13th when we are going to Monterey. I want to be out of the 150s by then. Have a nice day.

LOL - I made the same mini goal - letting myself have a cheat day today to get it out of my system, then straight back to induction tomorrow, and I'm hoping to reach 215 by my birthday in early May. We can do this - you're right - there is no middle ground, and I'll add one to it - "and failure is NOT an option!!" :-)

I think that's doable, Buffy, and what a wonderful target event it is. How long will you have been married? Have a wonderful spring day.

Great attitude! Your plan is absolutely doable. And I think most people in mid-journey go overboard in setting up unrealistic goals. Maybe too much Biggest Loser watching..... In any event, go for the 1-pound-a-week, and if you do more, that will just be extra cause for celebration. Lots of us here cheering you on!
