Family day yesterday. Watched Criminal Intent with hubby all morning, then over to older daughter's house to help out. My block schedule enables me to pencil my work days onto the calendar months in advance, so my daughter scheduled several therapy appointments on my off days so I can help with transportation and child care.

I took the stress dose of supplements yesterday, and noticed it really does help me to feel calm and less reactive. Will be routinely picking up two double shifts per pay period starting next week in order to pay for our January vacation, my supplements, and the kids school lunches.

Sounds like you had a pretty good day yesterday. I don't think I could routine 16 hr. work days anymore if I wanted to so I wish you well.

Sounds like everything is under control. I love it when things are running smoothly. It's great that you have the opportunity to earn extra money and a "middle of winter" vacation sounds AWESOME!

It's one day at a time. Thursday, my son in law brought my granddaughters over, saying daughter threw him out. Seven year old was sobbing, saying she didn't want mommy and daddy to break up. I comforted her, we fed them, then six year old broke down, saying it was her fault, and I comforted her. After they were settled, I went to talk to daughter. I decided the best I can do is support her in getting better, and in so doing, relieve some of SIL's stress.

I'm sorry for the troubles you and your family are experiencing. It's great you're there for the children and your son-in-law. I had the crazy idea that when my son hit 21 my job would be done. Never really happens though does it.

No. We think no sleep and colic are hard. How nice it would be to cuddle and pat her troubles away!
