My wife made homemade chicken noodle soup last night and I had a couple bowls so up a pound and a half today from the noodles and salt. Today will be "flush it out" day, lots of water.

We're due for 30" or more snow starting this afternoon. At work now but our office closes at noon and hopefully I can take my lunch at 11 and get out earlier. Going to get another 5 gallons kerosene just in case for emergency heat, other than that we're as ready as we can be. We have 2 wood burning fireplaces but that just sucks any heat out of the rest of the house so it's better to use a kerosene heater. Hopefully we won't lose electric in the storm but we'll see, we lose it frequently in bad weather.

Anyone in the path of the storm, be careful and be safe.
