Looks delish! Do you use ground beef? If it's available try ground turkey or ground chicken. Lots of flavour, much leaner & lower in saturated fats.

RwjWood, thanks it was. Yes it is extra lean ground beef. It was all I had on hand at the time. I have also used ground pork in a pinch, they all work well with this dish. 😊
