Some days I feel like I'm doing this on my own. I guess that's mostly because I am, but it would be nice if people around me would show support for my decision to lose weight in the first place. Instead I get nothing but laughter over the fact that I was doing one of my fast days yesterday. Isn't it funny that I'm taking steps to try to live healthier? I must be some kind of crazy to purposely restrict my caloric intake for a day. Heaven forbid my meals consist of mostly vegetables. Can't I see how outrageous this is? Ugh!!

Hi Aii~You are not alone on F.S We here on F.S will support you all the way. :) The trick is to find buddies. Once you find some. Comment on their diet, their wt. loss, and encourage them. They in turn will encourage you too! I have found some very nice people on here, and that is one of the reason as to why I lost weight, (because of my Buddie's helped me!) I hope that this suggestion helps you. It sounds to me, like you are doing a wonderful job with your food choices. I also feel like you that I am alone. But I truly am alone I live alone and work from home and when I do work outside of the home I usually eat alone. I do not usually tell to many people that I am trying to loose weight because if I fail they will just say told you so why did you even try. I just keep telling myself that I am doing this for me not them and who cares what they say. When you loose the weight and do not have to take so much medication and feel good then you can laugh at them. Keep up the good work. I am also trying to fast some but not for a whole day as I have diabetes. I also hate having to keep track of what I eat so I am just trying to make sure I eat a healthy diet and watch how much I eat. Yes lots of fruits and veggies mainly salads.
