A little higher carb-wise than I'd like my maximum to be. I had 31 carbs today and I'd like my max to be 20. However, I REALLY wanted asparagus so I indulged :)

I love asparagus! I usually eat it 2 or 3 times a week, even if I am doing low carb.

HCB: Yeah 30 carbs isn't terrible, and much better than the 80 - 100+ I was having the first 3 weeks! Go Sox! STT: The Broncos and asparagus. All a man really needs. Ok, not really. RoseT: I love it too - just not usually 30 spears in one day. YIKES!

Asparagus isn't a carbohydrate - it's a necessity.

Publix sells a fresh bag of steam in bag ones. 2 servings per bag, I usually eat both servings. They have the thin tender ones in it. Yummy!

I like to put mine on a foil lined cookie sheet, lightly drizzle with olive oil and salt and roast or broil them. SO GOOD! I like the thinner ones as well but I just read that thicker stalks indicate better quality! Hmph!
