Honestly, I don't count calories. I am more focused on keeping my carb % under 20% (when looking at the pie chart FS provides). I try to keep my carb grams under 50 grams a day. And in order to replace those carbs I'm no longer consuming, I have heavily increased my fat consumption while keeping my protein moderate. Fat fills you up and fast. My diet bounces from low-carb through keto to even some days being ketovore; just depends on how I am feeling. And while this works for me, it may not work for the next person.

Actually, I should say I try to keep my net carbs under 50 grams a day ;)

I have lost 17.5 lbs since Jan 19th by counting calories. Seems to be what works for me.

I count calories too, but I keep carbs to 50% of my daily intake which is easy with FS. As everyone knows, it is soooo easy to eat more carbs then you need!
