Today's fasting blood sugar is 7.5 mmol/L and I expected it to be high today due to eating some gluten-free brioche bread last night with dinner.

Yesterday afternoon I spent a good chunk of time at my GP's office but I've made my Doctor happy...like super happy! I've lost approx. 25-30 lbs since last July's weigh-in. (I also recorded my weight today - trying to shift it back to Sundays)

The bloodwork is back from earlier this week. I don't see my Endocrinologist until March 3rd but my Dr. gave me a copy of it. My A1C went from 9.4 down to 6.7!! Honestly, I'm happy with that result. She also said my kidney function was good and my blood pressure came in at normal - 120/80! Also good considering my mom had high blood pressure in the last years of her short life (she died at age 45 - aneurysm in her aorta). I can't remember the specific numbers but my BMI also dropped considerably. I used to be high enough to warrant bariatric surgery (didn't want) but now I don't qualify for it!! Gotta love that. She said "I don't know what you are doing but keep doing it!" So I will continue to do the low-carb to carnivore lifestyle (yes, running all of it together depending on the day :P).

She also check my lungs and they are clear, no wheezing, which means my Asthma is under control with no inhalers!

Had the dreaded PAP done too. My spine is screaming at me right now since my hip joints don't move like the average person does. Also, I got asked if I had done the mammogram...lol...told her no so now I have to actually go and do that damn thing. And lastly, the Dr's office is going to set up a colonoscopy for me to see if that can address the chronic diarrhea or at least rule out issues. But for that I most likely will have to do an overnight stay at the hospital because of all my health issues.

But all in all, I think the visit was productive and positive!!
Now to wait and see what my Endocrinologist says ;)
