Figure why not end 2022 with a new PR right ?? Hit 200 lbs on the bench press today and if I had tried 205 I could have gotten that based on how I felt with the rep the weight moved way easier than my last 1 max of 190 a few weeks ago.
2022 wrap up
Lost over 50 lbs and Got in the best shape of my life currently 2 months into my bulk so I'm up weight on purpose.
3,960,000 steps and
305 hours weigh lifting
347 miles mountain biking (pretty low for me but it's been a busy year.
Completed the 5k tough mudder
2023 game plan
January and February continue the bulk while keeping up with my 10-12k steps a day on lift days and 12k-15k most "rest"days
March 1st start of the cut!! Plan to start at 2500ish calories and see what fat I can drop on that. Keep the weight lifting the same maybe increase the walking a bit and add the rower and bike trainer back into rotation. Also going to start the dreaded running preparation. I
Should be able to drop the extra fat pounds I gained by end of April at the latest leaving me all of May to train at the weight I plan to complete the 15k tough mudder end of May.
June-Sept maintain roughly the same body fat percentage while trying to gain some muscle and continue to train for my next mudder in September also try to do at least 1 spartan race during this time.
September 30th 15k tough mudder
October 1st start of the new 5 month bulk season assuming I get the results im after from the one I'm doing right now. Rinse wash and repeat for 2024 lol. This is the basic plan as of now.
