In case of emergency, use gift bags! I know you'll get it all done. 🎄

Your comments about not wanting the pups to tear into presents reminded me of the time I realized my cat was chewing and swallowing the curling ribbon on the presents under the tree. Evidence in litter box. So I haven't had presents under the tree for years. I also need to go to the grocery store. I tend to avoid it during the holidays but I need to go. Hope you have a good weekend

Thanks! Downstairs rooms- LR, kitchen, DR, 1/2 bath and office are clean. Well- Still a little more in the kitchen to do but just a tiny bit. TOnight I will finish the upstairs which is just my room and the full bath. Kids can do their own whenever. I haven't cleaned their rooms in ages. It is up to them. Off to cheer for the cheerleaders. Yes Fritzy- no matter how closely I think I watch these 2, the poop has bits of plastic and string and occasionally wood. I'm afraid of what the vet will say when she asks for a poop sample. LOL. Yes- Shirfleur! Gift bags for the win. I actually have 2 colors of wrapping paper and one kid will get one and the other the other and it works out easily that way. Thanks, Sherry!

Ah, modern life... happy holidays, DP. You will pull it all together. Perfection is for TV commercials. You are keeping it real.

germans do not dig random holes. well thought out long deep trenches are their thing and yeah, I've been filling them as quick as I see them. and finding the occasional "baby" put away for safekeeping.

We put the kids gifts into a backpack. This started about 8 years ago. We put their presents in backpacks and they had to follow clues to find them. It has become tradition. We have hidden backpacks up in trees, in chicken coop. One year all the clues had to be pieced together and the back was a map showing where the backpacks were. It makes wrapping gifts.

Thanks everyone! They took first in their division so she was very excited and looked great. The back pack idea would never work- but it sounds fun. Too many things in all different sizes. Happy Sunday! Christmas with MIL which hopefully means tamales. I'll try to do better Monday thru Friday to even out this gain a little and then plan to be back at it 12/26 again. No sense in waiting until New Years Day.

Congrats to your daughter's team on taking first! 🤸🏆 I like the wrapping paper idea, why didn't I ever think of that? Tamales are a Christmas tradition for many in Texas. Ours are gumbo and eggnog Christmas Eve. I just love it all! 🎄🎁🎀

Some days I feel that way- other days I am wasting time on the computer and watching ELF for the 100th time. LOL. I don't care. I need to enjoy my days off, too. ;) Thank you, Shir! I only did the the last year or two (different paper).
