I'm down another pound. It's not as far down as I was hoping to be....but at least I'm going down and not up! Postive thinking is alot harder than it seems.

I did overindulge a bit last weekend. But...I did manage to stay under 2000...which is good. But not as good as I wanted to be. I must admit that during the last couple of days or so (ok..a week or two) I've been in a depressed sorta mood. It's happening alot. Well..more than lately. I have a doctor's appt. in July for my blood pressure and I think that I'm gonna have to talk to him about it. I'm debating. When I was younger after my parents split up my mom took me to a phsycoloist (sp?) who I was with for about a year or so. She didn't diagnose me or anything I think, because I don't remember being on any pills. But then again I was 7...and that period of my life is spotty at best. My family does have a history of it....especailly on my dad's side. It's gettng harder and harder to get outta bed. I'm scared that I'm just over-reacting though. Not quite sure what I'll do.

On a bright side though, Michael started his job yesterday. He seemed to be excited about it. It was just the first day and training at that, but hereally seemed to like it.

One pound is still amazing! That's 3,500 calories down! That's equivalent to 7 Big Mac's that you didn't eat! That's amazing!

I love Brandy's way of thinking! Hopefully Michael continues to enjoy his new job, liking what you are doing makes everything better! As for feeling depressed - talk to your Dr. you may not even need anti-depressants but if you do there is absolutely NOTHING wrong about taking them, in fact most people are on them and feel shameful so they don't talk about it. Personally I was on them for 4 years (my dr. took me off them back in August of last year as an experiment) if the help excellent, I see no shame in them sometimes out brains just aren't wired the way they are supposed to be and it takes one little pill to make things better.

I agree you should talk to your doctor about depression. It is nothing to be ashamed about. I have been on meds before and they help. Do you take a multi vitamin? I have been really tired lately, I started taking muy vitamins again and I have much more energy. Sometimes the body needs a little boost of vitamins and minerals it may be lacking!

Well congrats on the loss!! But there's nothing wrong with talking with someone, it's healthy really. Besides being physically healthy we need to be mentally healthy too. There's a lot going on in our minds and body and sometimes it's a lot to process, I totally get it! :) So make sure you take care of all parts of you and we're all here for ya! OXOX
